Why I Write…

Every story I write begins the same way—not with words, but with a vision.

Before a single sentence reaches the page, I see the scene unfold within my mind's eye. I hear the voices, witness the emotions, and experience each moment as though I am standing beside the characters. Only then do I begin to write.

My characters are never puppets. They surprise me as often as they surprise the reader because each one carries a unique voice, history, personality, strengths, and flaws. I write them as real people, not simply as fictional characters.

Throughout my life, I have worked many jobs, met thousands of people, loved deeply, grieved deeply, laughed loudly, and learned countless lessons. Every one of those experiences lives somewhere within these pages.

Yet the stories themselves are only one layer. Beneath every adventure, every mystery, every romance, every dragon, every vampire, every fae court, and every forgotten kingdom rests something much quieter: a mirror.

Not a mirror that judges, but one that simply reflects.

Each reader discovers something different because every reader arrives carrying unique experiences, questions, wounds, dreams, and hopes. Some may simply enjoy an adventure. Others may discover courage, find forgiveness, or recognize themselves in a character they never expected to understand.

My stories never demand what you should believe, nor do they tell you who you must become. Instead, they offer an invitation to look within. If you recognize yourself somewhere along the journey, the choice has always been yours—and that choice always will be.

I believe life was never meant to be merely endured. Life was meant to be lived with joy, laughter, wonder, and love. Dance in the rain. Sing out loud. Create without fear. Love fiercely. Forgive often. Keep wondering. Keep growing. Above all, keep choosing joy.

If these stories help someone remember even a small part of who they truly are, then they have fulfilled the purpose for which they were written.

Welcome to the Dreamscape Mysteries™, where dreams come alive and every story offers an opportunity to discover a little more of yourself along the way.
