A word may help explain part of your journey. A label may help you understand an experience. But no single word can contain the whole of who you are.
“Becoming Human” is an original Sarionae Music™ song about dignity, identity, self-trust, and remembering the living person beneath every diagnosis, prediction, chart, number, or label.
The song does not reject the words and tools that can help us understand ourselves. We can listen, learn, ask questions, care for our bodies, seek help when help is needed, and use every tool that genuinely supports our journey.
But we do not have to become the sentence written beside our names.
Every person moves through life differently. One person may move more slowly. Another may hear the world more loudly. Someone may think in colors and patterns or notice details others never see. Different experiences do not erase the gifts, wisdom, creativity, love, and possibility carried within a human life.
No word can hold a lifetime.
No box can hold a soul.
We are learning, loving, falling, rising, and discovering who we are one breath and one heartbeat at a time.
We are still becoming human.
