“Wake Up the Christmas Kid” is a playful original Christmas song about rediscovering the wonder, laughter, and freedom that adulthood sometimes teaches us to set aside.
The song invites grown-ups to make snow angels, pile marshmallows too high in the cocoa, dance around the Christmas tree, wait up for Santa, laugh without worrying who hears, and remember that growing older never meant the magic had to disappear.
Sometimes the inner child does not need another lesson.
Sometimes the inner child simply wants to come out and play.
